Took the bus all the way across town with my partner and it was %110 worth it. Food was delicious—the bread pudding was so damn good. We came during one of their live music nights and the energy/mood in the whole pub was so heartwarming. It made me happy to look around and see people playing cards, laughing, drinking and dancing to music together.
This place was more impressive than I had expected. From the outside the building looks a bit small but it’s not a small English pub. There’s plenty of room to sit indoors with an area to play games. Outdoor seating is available and it was perfect for our group especially since we had smokers. This place is also pet friendly. The food was delicious and their variety of brews was extensive. Way more options than other pubs I’ve been to. I personally found their prices to be very affordable for a great night out with friends!! Also, their staff was friendly, attentive, and gave excellent service.I highly recommend a visit if you’re in Portland. Thank you Moon and Sixpence!! Just FYI... Indoor seating will require proof of vaccination and masks were worn by all staff.
Genuine pub experience. Great beer selection and live music. Loved the vibe and would highly recommend it for a fun night out with friends or a quiet pint alone.

All I ever want to do in life is find food stuffed into pastries and this place didn’t disappoint. We had the Curry Puffs and the Chicken Pot Pie, which were amazing!!! Definitely going back to try more things. Great pub environment.
5 stars is not enough for this pub. I’ve been to Europe and the UK several times and this is as authentic as it gets. Amazing selection of beers and the food is beyond delicious. I absolutely love the vibe here and I’m thrilled this is my regular neighborhood bar!!!

The food here is exceptional. Everything I’ve gotten has been so damn good but I highly recommend getting the cottage pie with a side order of chips and curry sauce. Great local beer selection just wish they had more English beers.
